Gerald Zemel, M.D.

Dr. Zemel is a partner with Radiology Associates of South Florida and an interventional radiologist for Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute.
Dr. Zemel served as a manuscript reviewer for a number of journals including Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology , American Journal of Radiology, American Journal of Gastroenterology, and Journal of Vascular Surgery. He is also a well-published author on subjects such as TIPS. He has written several chapters for books, published numerous abstracts, and presented on a variety of subjects within interventional radiology.
Dr. Zemel earned an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University before being awarded an M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh 's School of Medicine . He completed internships at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, the latter in radiologic pathology. He finished a residency at the University of Pittsburgh 's School of Medicine and a fellowship in interventional radiology at Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute.
