Ann E. Podrasky, M.D.
A partner with Radiology Associates of South Florida, Dr. Podrasky is the medical director in the department of ultrasound and a staff radiologist at Baptist Hospital of Miami, South Miami Hospital, Homestead Hospital, and Baptist Outpatient Centers. She has previously served as an assistant clinical professor of radiology at the University of Miami 's School of Medicine.
Dr. Podrasky is a frequent lecturer on numerous subjects, primarily dealing with ultrasound. These include emergency abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound, abdominal Doppler, color Doppler in OB/GYN, and various small parts topics as scrotal, abdominal wall, thyroid, and appendix ultrasound. Her current interests, aside from ultrasound, are pelvic and fetal MRI.
Dr. Podrasky has an undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She received an M.D. from the University of California at San Francisco. She then completed a one-year internship in internal medicine at Children's Hospital of San Francisco. She performed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California at San Francisco. She has fellowship training in ultrasound and body CT imaging at the University of California at San Francisco and was a fellow in magnetic resonance imaging at Huntington Medical Research Institute. She is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and serves as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Radiology in Ultrasound.
