Neil H. Messinger, M.D.

Dr. Messinger is a partner with Radiology Associates of South Florida and recently stepped down as the chief radiologist and director of medical imaging at Baptist Hospital of Miami, South Miami Hospital, Homestead Hospital, and Baptist Outpatient Centers. He is a voluntary professor in radiology at the University of Miami 's School of Medicine. Dr. Messinger's past roles include serving as an adjunct and associate attending physician in radiology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center and an assistant professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has also served in the military as a captain in the U.S. Air Force as chief of the radiology division at Griffins Air Force Base.

Dr. Messinger regularly speaks on a variety of topics such as the radiological and diagnosis of lower abdominal pain, the needs and wants of a large private practice, and the radiologic features of lymphosarcoma of the colon. In addition, he has been published in peer-review journals including American Journal of Gastroenterology, American Journal of Roentgenology, CHEST, and Journal of the Canadian Association of Radiologists.

Dr. Messinger has an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and an M.D. from S.U.N.Y Downstate Medical Center. He completed a mixed medicine internship and a residency in radiology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Messinger is a fellow of New York Academy of Medicine, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American College of Radiology.
